We call them anticuchos, which is Peruvian. Depending on where you are, they have different names - Espetinos in Brasil, Pinchos in Colombia... All similar though - cooked on an open grill and served with delicious house-made sauces.

Banana and Hazelnut - Venezuela
Sliced banana, orange, lettuce, shallot and spiced hazelnuts with a sour cream dressing.
NEW - Pear and Manchego - Chile
Pear, manchego (Spanish sheep’s cheese), lettuce, shallot and capsicum in a honey mustard dressing. Served with a side serve of delicious toasted pepitas.
NEW - Solterito - Peru
Means ‘little single man’ and supposedly was what bachelors ate to keep themselves in shape so they could attract women. Salad of broad beans, sweetcorn, tomato, onion, olives and crumbly goat’s cheese in a red wine vinaigrette.

Ají de Gallina (potato & chicken layered bake) - Peru
Potato and spiced chicken baked in a golden dendê oil and ají-infused (hint of chili) cream sauce.
Fritada de Chancho (tender pork in orange) - Ecuador
Pork loin cooked slowly in orange and cumin, served with a llapingacho (prounced "yapingacho" - we don’t expect you to remember this one - it’s just for Elle!) which is a mozzarella-filled potato cake. With a peanut and thyme sauce and onion jam.

Roasted portobello mushrooms stuffed with a mix of chorizo, garlic, onion, thyme and manchego cheese.
Escondidinho (Brasilian Shepherd’s Pie) - Brasil
Means ‘little hidden one’. Brasilian Shepherd’s Pie - ground beef in a rich gravy ‘hidden’ beneath cheesy mashed potato and a whole caramelised banana. The banana goes perfectly with the dish. Now served with mince and not brisket which is yummy.
Chuletas de Cordero (Chimichurri lamb cutlets) - Uruguay
Chargrilled lamb cutlets marinated in cumin, coriander and basil, served with sautéed chili potatoes and topped with chimichurri (herb oil) and farofa (cassava crumb).

Pastry parcels with a filling of sweet potato, lentil & chili. Served with a sour cream dressing.
Pimiento Relleno (Stuffed pepper) - Peru

Papas Chorreadas (Potato & cheese bake) - Colombia
Layered potato with tomato, coriander & dill baked in a mozzarella and parmesan sauce
Causa Limeña (Chicken, potato & avo stacks) - Peru
Means either ‘the cause of Lima’ named after a Peruvian freedom movement or ‘essential food of Lima’ from an ancient Peruvian description.
Chilled stacks of turmeric-spiced potato and creamy chicken, topped with avocado and served with lime.
